The term “masterminding” is usually credited to Napoleon Hill around 80 years ago in his book, “Think and Grow Rich“…however the concept of masterminding has existed for as long as businesses have been around.
The idea of masterminding is really very simple – it is essentially all about sharing and collaborating with other business owners, to the betterment of all participating businesses.
How does a mastermind work?
A group of business owners (known as a Mastermind Group) meet on a regular basis, to tackle challenges and problems together. They share ideas and experiences, rely on each other for support, give advice, share connections and even do business with each other. It’s very much peer-to-peer mentoring and if you are lucky enough to involved in one, you will most likely see a marked change in yourself and your business.
A mastermind group is designed to help you find your way through the challenges of creating, running and growing a business by using the collective intelligence of other business owners.
